Growing Goodness: An Evening of Cultivating Strong Character

  • 5th Street Commons Marion, IN, 46952 United States (map)

Growing Goodness is a FREE TED-style event featuring local speakers on 6 topics: Wisdom, Courage, Humanity, Justice, Temperance, & Transcendence. Based on the Character Strength Themes developed by the VIA Institute on Character, this annual partnership between Lark’s Song and Circles of Grant County is a beautiful event you will NOT want to miss! Each year, our committee takes time to consider individuals within our community (Grant County, Indiana), who embody one of these seven character strengths, and then we invite them to speak on that strength/topic in a short TED-style presentation. Our hope for the evening is that each participant will leave with their own personal sense of challenge around strengthening their own unique character strengths, specifically with regard to how they can use them to serve the community.

We encourage each participant to take the FREE VIA Character Strength Assessment to discover your own Strength Themes. It does not take long to take - you can access the assessment here: https://www.viacharacter.org/Survey/Account/Register.
