Elliot Bruhl

Experience Designer

I’m Elliot Bruhl (he/him)! I am an enthusiastic, empathetic, emerging entrepreneur. I am interested in the academic areas of: positive psychology, well-being, embodiment, gender and sexuality, and complex trauma. You can often find me camping, listening to audiobooks, playing pickleball or building something ridiculous out of wood. I hope to one day create my own organization or business to increase well-being and joy in the LGBTQIA+ community, own chickens, and become best friends with a cow.

I moved from Bowling Green, Ohio to Marion in 2019 for college. I graduated with my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2023. I first heard about Lark’s Song, during my junior year of college, when completing a report for my psychology practicum. I have always been interested in how ordinary people can learn to live more flourishing lives. Because of this, it was not hard to convince me to sign up to become a Lark’s Song Certified Coach (2024, Cohort 23). I continued my learning by participating in the Lark’s Song Well-Being Certificate (2023, Yarrow Cohort).

I found a rich sense of community within Lark’s Song. Joining Lark’s Song and signing up for the coach training program was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Since graduating from the coach training program, I have found more and more ways to get involved. Some of these ways include: volunteering at the LIVE Program at Mississinewa High School, being a team leader at Superhero Camp, supporting the Lark’s Song Well-Being Certificate, going on Made Wild, and helping with any group coaching opportunity that comes my way! I also earned my BCC and ACC coaching credentials this year!

Lark’s Song shows me that a better way is possible. It is one of the only places where I can feel totally accepted and at ease in my body as a trans and neurodivergent person. As the Experience Designer at Lark’s Song, I help create intentional moments of ease. I want Lark's Song to be a place where people can relax, be themselves, and discover that so much more is possible.

If you were my best friend, you would know that I am currently investing a lot of my time into my own business. Part of that includes my role at Lark’s Song where I am learning about non-profit administration. I am working towards my goal of camping at all 24 Indiana State parks in 2026. I’m also investing in myself as a drag artist and taking on new private coaching clients!
