Madeline MacKinnon

Culture Care Co-Director

I’m Maddie MacKinnon! I particularly love a jazzy fall morning, colorful outfits, and
toning my Vagus Nerve by singing at local venues. I am located in Indianapolis, IN, but
my heart is in Mexico City, where I grew up. Mexico City drastically shaped the way I live
and work in the world. Their collectivist orientation has birthed within me a more whole & communal approach to both work and life. For work, I am a professional coach, floral
designer, and data consultant.

I discovered Lark’s Song in 2023 and was instantly drawn in by the organization’s
mission to courageously co-create a more fulfilled and flourishing world! What was
different about Lark’s Song from other organizations was its commitment to
wholehearted reciprocity and to practicing more than preaching. And while I had seen
other orgs create a sense of belonging and connection amongst their staff, I had never
seen it done as excellently or thoughtfully as Lark’s Song. My life has been impacted by
Lark’s Song in ways that transcends professional development – I am a more curious,
honest, and open person than I was before crossing paths with Lark’s Song. I now serve
as a board member and actively support the administrative and marketing parts of the
business.

Coaching has been a really resonant process for me in that I have been able to
get clearer about the kind of person I want to become and what kind of work I could do
that would serve the world best. In particular, the coach training program supported me in cultivating deeper life purpose literacy and creative agency around my relationships.
After going through the incredible Coach Training Program, I now coach professionally
and have worked primarily with clients who are artists and entrepreneurs. I’m pursuing
my ACC through the International Coach Federation (ICF) so that I can partner with Lark’s Song in facilitating the Coach Training Program. I hope that Lark’s Song as an
organization experiences abundant support and care from a surprising community this
upcoming year!
