Our comprehensive, nationally approved program challenges you to build on your natural strengths through learning and applying professional coaching skills.

The LSCC program is a 140-hour, CCE (Center for Credentialing and Education) approved coach training program that is designed to be completed in 6 months. The program consists of four, experiential 2-day onsite trainings combined with virtual trainings that includes conference calls, practice coaching sessions with supervision, webinars, live lectures and discussion forums. The combination of the onsite education with the efficiency of online & virtual methods gives participants the practical application, feedback, experience and flexibility to leverage their learning. All cohorts have a maximum of 15 participants so that you receive the individual attention, supervision, and customization that you need.

The SPRING 2020 COHORT will be held in MARION, IN.
The FALL 2020 COHORT will be held in INDIANAPOLIS, IN.
The SPRING 2021 COHORT will be held in PHOENIX, AZ.

Foundations of Coaching
Spring 2020 Cohort: February 21-22, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Fall 2020 Cohort: August 7-8, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Spring 2021 Cohort: February 13-15, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Foundations of Coaching will set a theoretical and practical foundation for you to begin or continue your journey in coaching. You will become familiar with the movement of positive psychology and client motivation levels and gain immediate experience and feedback in coaching skills and techniques.

Experience-Assisted Coaching
Spring 2020 Cohort: April 3-4, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Fall 2020 Cohort: September 18-19, 8:00 am-5:00 pm
Spring 2021 Cohort: March 27-29, 8:00 am-5:00 pm (combined with Coaching & Self)

Experience-Assisted Coaching will challenge you to add the process and unpredictability of intentional experiences to your coaching practice. With a theoretical base for implementing any intentionally created experience and partnering with a host of other professionals into your coaching and training through demonstration, practice and feedback in art, play/adventure, and equine-assisted coaching, you will leave this onsite with tools and experience that are distinctive of the LSCC.

Coaching and Self will lead you through a series of practical activities, exercises and assessments that will serve you in defining your purpose, values, and beginning to establish your niche as a coach. You will learn to coach from your personal strengths and experience and leave equipped with a full “coaching toolbox” that will aid you in confidently starting your personal coaching practice.

Coaching & Systems

Spring 2021 Cohort: April 24-26, 8:00 am-5:00 pm

Coaching and Systems will teach you techniques and skills needed to serve a group or organization that desires coaching. You will become familiar with systems theory, conflict resolution and the coach’s role in empowering an entire group or organization to reach their goals and develop their potential.

After successful completion of the Lark's Song Certified Coach (LSCC) Program you will have:

  • A professional credential from a CCE approved, coach training program as a LSCC. 

  • 30 client hours and well over 60 coach training toward your BCC requirement and ICF/ACC credential (portfolio track). Those with a Bachelor's degree or higher will also be eligible and prepared to sit for the Board Certified Coach (BCC) exam.

  • In-depth and personalized feedback about your coaching from experienced, credentialed coaches.

  • Deepened confidence and authenticity in using coaching skills with your existing strengths and style to develop your professional coaching niche.

  • Coaching skills that will enable you to competently coach individuals, professionals, and groups or teams anywhere in the world.

  • Knowledge and application of how to partner with other business professionals

  • Access to a network of professional colleagues and professional resources for effective practice and documentation.

  • A business “toolkit” to allow for easy transition into marketing and starting a professional coaching business.

The cost of the Lark’s Song Certified Coach training program is $5,450. You can register for an upcoming cohort in two ways: 1) By paying the full amount online or mailing a check to Lark’s Song, 401 S Washington St, Marion, IN 46053 OR by paying a registration fee of $450 to reserve your spot in an upcoming cohort and arranging financing through our partnering institution - INOVA Credit Union.
